  • 1 cookie press

Ingredients
  

  • cups (375g) flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
  • cups (140g) powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
  • cups (168g) powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract

Instructions
 

  • preheat oven to 375°, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  • sift together flour and salt, set aside
  • cream together butter and powdered sugar
  • add egg and vanilla
  • add flour and salt until just combined
  • fill cookie press with dough and press cookies onto cookie sheet 1" apart
  • bake for 6-8 min, move to rack to cool completely
  • combine glaze ingredients (powdered sugar, milk and vanilla) and glaze cookies, top with sprinkles if desired
