This ganache is so easy to make and its smooth and creamy and the perfect chocolate topping for any cake, cookie or cracker OR just by the spoonful!

- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
- 4 tsp light corn syrup
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ½ tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
- 3½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 oz boiling water
combine cocoa, butter. corn syrup, salt and vanilla until it makes a paste (it will kind of resemble wet coffee grounds)
add powdered sugar to chocolate and pour boiling water over the top
stir until ganache comes together, the boiling water will melt the chocolate and mix with the sugar
